patch from Hugo DesRosiers to export categories and notes into vcards. extend that patch to export categories into vcalendar appointments also.

    ./configure
    make
    su
    make install


Starting with a mercurial working directory, try this:

    make -f *cvs
    (cd xml; make; make distclean)
    make distcheck
